Never Coming Home

I padded along the rivers edge, both my eyes locked on my surroundings. My bluish black fur swayed in the wind as I sat down on a over-hanging cliff and letting out a eerie, but beautiful howl that chilled everyone's bones. My foggy eyes looked as if I could not see anything, but they were wrong. I could see more than they ever could. I widened my eyes more as the moon looked blood red. I winced. What could this mean?
As I walked home, my ears pricked, I entered camp, going under 2 boulders which guarded the entrance. I looked around. Where was everyone? I couldn't even hear voices. Was my father home! What about my mother?! My face turned b
